German Cockroaches
Small light-brown roaches, about the size of your thumbnail, with two dark stripes behind the head.

Signs you have them
- Roaches running when you turn on the kitchen light
- Pepper-like droppings in cabinet corners and hinges
- Egg cases the size of a grain of rice
- A musty smell in heavy infestations
Why it matters
They breed faster than any other roach. A single egg case holds 30 to 40 young, and a few roaches become thousands in a few months. They spread bacteria and trigger asthma.
How we treat it
A baiting program instead of a spray. We place gel bait in the kitchen, and bathrooms too if it's severe. A follow-up visit two to three weeks later catches the next hatch. If you still see live roaches 14 days after the second visit, the third visit is free.
Prevention
- Don't spray store-bought products, which make roaches avoid the bait
- Clean grease behind appliances
- Check grocery bags, boxes, and used appliances coming into the house
From a customer
“Dave H was prompt and got to work right away. He checked to make sure we didn't have German cockroaches and he knew just where to spray.”
