Weed control & lawn treatment
A lawn program on Central Texas time
We combine treatments, so most lawns need only about 3 visits a year. No contract, and a break during the hottest months.

The year at a glance
The two PPF windows are late February to early March and late September to early October. The early-summer visit moves with the weather. If weeds break through between visits, call us for a spot treatment.
Why we cost less over a year
About 3 visits a year instead of 7 to 11
Many lawn companies advertise 50% off the first treatment, then lock you into a contract and come out 7 to 11 times a year. We put down post-emergent, pre-emergent, and fertilizer at the same visit, so most lawns need about 3 visits a year. Our first visit costs a little more, but customers who switch typically save $600 to $700 a year on weed control and fertilizer. No contract, ever.
After a treatment
- Keep people and pets off the lawn until it dries, usually 30 to 45 minutes
- Water pre-emergent in within 48 hours if there's no rain: one irrigation cycle or about 30 minutes per zone
- Skip watering if rain is expected within 5 days
- Wait 48 hours before and after treatment to mow
- New sod: wait at least 30 days, ideally until the seams disappear
Watering in Austin
- Spring and summer: twice a week, 15 to 20 minutes per zone, about an inch total
- Fall: once or twice a week, depending on rain
- Winter: usually none
- Water around 5 AM so the grass dries during the day
- Always follow your city's watering schedule
