Subterranean Termites
Workers are small, soft, and creamy-white. Swarmers are black with two pairs of equal-length wings that break off.
Quick answerMagic Pest & Lawn offers preventative termite treatment around the foundation, recommended quarterly, but we don't treat active termite infestations or write WDI reports for home sales. Call or text 512-203-0525.

Signs you have them
- Swarms of winged insects indoors in spring, often after rain
- Piles of shed wings on windowsills
- Pencil-width mud tubes on the foundation
- Wood that sounds hollow when tapped
Why it matters
They eat wood from the inside out, and damage often goes unseen for years.
How we treat it
We offer preventative termite treatment around the foundation, recommended quarterly. We don't treat active termite infestations or do WDI reports for home sales. If that's what you need, we'll tell you right away so you can call a termite specialist without losing time.
Prevention
- Keep wood, mulch, and soil from touching siding
- Fix leaks and drainage near the foundation
- Have a termite specialist inspect any mud tubes
Questions
Do you do termite inspections for real estate?+
No. We don't do WDI (wood-destroying insect) reports. Contact a termite specialist for a home sale.
